Fishing in the middle of Sweden

Only metres from the rushing rapids and the sea trout fishing in the Harmånger River – is where you find Kustleden, including fishing guide Jessica Dolk.

At Kustleden, environmental responsibility and a natural relationship with the surrounding wilderness is the priority. Sportsfishing from land, fishing kayaks or canoes are part of the low impact profile of this resort.

The two Holm Lakes with their exciting pike fishing are as close as the river, while the sea can be reached after a short walk. Within easy bicycling distance are two put-and-take lakes, Långtjärn and Bodtjärn. Lodging is available in self catering flats or in rooms at the hostel.

Easter is the usual kick-off for the sea trout season which runs into early June. Fishing in rivers and streams is open until September 1st, while fishing in lakes and the sea is open year round. Best season for big pikes is springtime, usually in April before the pike has spawned and even directly after they have spawned, which is normally at the end of May until midsummer. October and November are also good months for catching large pikes. Lodging is open year-round.

In the Harmånger River, including the nearby North and South Holm Lakes, there are several species. Pike, sea trout, salmon, grayling and perch are the most common. There are numerous areas where the large pikes find excellent ecological habitats.

We work closely with the fishing guide Jessica Dolk. She provides guiding from shore and from a guide boat. She also offers casting lessons in flyfishing. We rent canoes and kayaks, including fishing kayaks, and there is a small sportsfishing shop on site. We also sell all local fishing licenses.
